Welcome to the WEAVING Project’s information page for state Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Programs (BCCEDP)! We hope this site will be helpful and informative to you and your staff. We encourage you to visit this site often, as it is continually being updated.
We anticipate that providing technical assistance services to urban Indian health organizations (UIHO) and state BCCEDP programs will help increase the number of urban American Indian and Alaska Native women who receive screening services. We also anticipate that this collaboration may assist state BCCEDPs in enhancing CDC program performance indicators by increasing service delivery to priority populations including: minority women, cervical cancer screening to the ‘rarely-and-never’ screened and breast cancer screening to women ages 50-64.

States without an urban Indian health organization
Although states without an urban Indian health organization are currently not eligible to be model sites for technical assistance services, we are eager to support breast and cervical cancer prevention efforts and outreach to urban American Indian and Alaska Native women living in these areas. We encourage you to visit this website often for tools and resources that may assist you in your efforts.
